The Virtual Baltic Sea Explorer (ViBSE) web-based software is designed to provide high school students with adequate and inspiring tools and resources to build new integrated knowledge in two disciplines, biology and chemistry.
This learning environment provides a bridge between the school and science worlds by positioning students as researchers, and fostering their adoption of the practices, objectives and methods that guide the authentic research of professional scientists.
